Dorien Carroll is a choreographer, dance instructor, and music producer from Baltimore, MD. His training expands in various styles such as Classical/Contemporary Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theater, Liturgical and more. Dorien was introduced to dance when he joined the Ava Fields Dance Company/Ministry. He gained most of his classical training from The Baltimore School for the Arts. Dorien has worked with numerous choreographers and performed well-known work such as Martha Graham’s “Appalachian Spring”, George Balanchine’s “Who Cares”, and many more. Dorien is currently working to receive his Associate of Fine Arts Degree in Dance to expand more with the art form. Dorien is also currently teaching across the Baltimore, MD area to help bring light and uplift his community.
