A Baltimore Native, Aliyah Caldwell began her training at the Ava Fields Dance Ministry. She was then introduced to ballet at the TWIGS Program at the Baltimore School for the Arts. She then proceeded to attend the Baltimore School for the Arts receiving her diploma in dance in 2012. She is a graduate of Towson University, earning her BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography with a minor in Business Administration.
She has performed with ballet & modern companies such as BalaSole Dance Company, DanceIquail, and Ballet Nouveau.
She has performed the Broadway Musical "SWING" with Norwegian Cruise Line & is currently in the cast of the Broadway Musical "Hairspray" with Royal Caribbean Cruise Line.
She is currently on the 1st National Tour Of Tina: The Tina Turner Musical As An Ikette #1/Ensemble.
Aliyah has studied with Norma Pera, Anton Wilson, Arthur Mitchell, Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell, Vincent Thomas, Alonzo King, Earl Mosley, Christian Von Howard, Runqaio Du, Catherine Horta-Hayden, Alia Kache-Blackwell, Stephen Mills, and Felicia Cruz. She has attended summer intensives such as Dance Theatre of Harlem, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Alonzo King LINES Ballet, Ballet Austin, and Earl Mosley Institute of the Arts.
